History of Chundan Vallam(Snake boat)
Firstly I will introduce my self.I am Rajeevkumar Kesavanachari from Koduppunna Venkida family.The first snake boat made by the architects of this family 400 years ago.There are so many articles regarding the history of snake boats,most of them describes different versions.The architect's name ,his family name all are narrating in these articles is wrong.
The real name is Devanarayanan Achari and family name is Venkida not venkita.The venkida family is located in Koduppunna which is in Kuttanadu , Alleppey district.(Wait to read the true story..........!!!!!)
